Titers

Blood test to check if an individual is immune to specific diseases. Common titers include Hepatitis B, MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Varicella and TDAP.

Vaccinations

Vaccines to protect against specific diseases.  Common vaccines include flu, MMR, Varicella, TDAP and Hepatitis B – which is administered in a series of three vaccines.

Tuberculosis (TB) Skin Test

Skin test (PPD) to determine if someone has developed an immune response to the bacterium that causes TB. Available in both one and two steps.

Tuberculosis (TB) Blood Test

QuantiFERON Gold TB and T-Spot blood test to aid in diagnosing Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection, including latent TB (LTBI) and TB.

Chest X-Ray

A positive TB skin or blood test only indicates that a person has been infected with TB bacteria. It does not tell whether the person has latent TB (LTBI) or has progressed to TB disease. Other tests, such as a Chest X-Ray, are needed to determine whether the person has TB disease.

Physicals

Exam conducted by a physician to determine the applicant’s ability to perform work-related duties. DOT and non-DOT physicals are available.

Respirator Mask Fit Test

Qualitative and quantitative fit tests available. Qualitative fit testing is a pass/fail method that detects leakage into the respirator facepiece.  Quantitative fit testing is designed to identify general medical conditions that could place a worker at risk of serious medical consequences if a respirator is used.

Color Blind Test

Test used to determine if an individual has a color vision deficiency, commonly known as color blindness.
